Privacy Policy

We collect only what a yard needs to price your job: postcode, what you are digging, machine size, dates and your contact details. We pass those to the yards we approach on your behalf, and we do not sell your details to anyone else.

What we collect

When you submit the form we record the delivery postcode, the job description, machine size, start date, your name, and your phone number or email. We also record which page you submitted from.

Why we collect it

Solely to obtain prices for your job. Without the postcode a yard cannot tell you whether it delivers to you or what that costs.

Who we share it with

The plant hire yards we approach to quote your job, and nobody else. We do not sell enquiry data or add you to unrelated marketing lists.

How long we keep it

Twelve months, so we can help if a question arises about a hire, then deleted. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@minidiggerhire.uk and we will act within one month.

Once your enquiry reaches a yard, that yard becomes an independent controller of your details under its own policy.
We cannot delete data a yard holds after we have passed your enquiry on. Ask them directly.
