Mini Digger Hire is a UK comparison and enquiry service. We do not own machines or run a depot. We take your job details once and pass them to plant hire yards that deliver to your postcode, so you can compare real prices.
Why we publish rates and specifications
Most of this market quotes on request, and the sites that do publish prices rarely publish the numbers that decide the job. Transport width is the figure that determines whether a machine reaches your garden, and almost nobody lists it. We publish both, along with dig depths and weights, because a specification you cannot see is one you cannot plan around.
How the service works
You tell us the postcode, what you are digging and when. We match it to yards covering that area and they quote you directly. You take one, or none. No account, no obligation.
How we make money
Yards pay us for the enquiry, not you. That is worth saying plainly because it explains our incentive: we are paid when a yard receives a job it can actually serve, so sending you to a depot that cannot reach your postcode helps nobody.
What we do not do
We do not own or maintain machines. We do not employ operators. We do not set yard prices and cannot guarantee a specific quote. We do not hire out attachments independently of a machine.

Are you a plant hire company?
No. We are a comparison and enquiry service. The machines and operators belong to plant hire yards, and your hire contract is with them.
Does it cost me anything?
No. Yards pay for the enquiry, not you. There is no account to create and no obligation to book.
Why do you publish transport widths?
